BLOCKCHAIN MAMA

I’m Blessing Emah,  a Technical Product Manager and a Blockchain Advocate.

My journey began in Community building and Education, where I saw what impact really means and how building impactful products can change lives. I discovered that my true calling lies in building products that solve real problems and drive adoption

The Blockchain space is where I’m most excited to build in. For the past 7 years, I have been focused on bridging the gap between blockchain technology and user needs, ensuring that Web3 solutions are not just innovative but also accessible, scalable, and impactful.

Here is my story on building the future of blockchain, one product at a time.👇

From Code to Product

My Journey into Blockchain Product Management.

I’ve always been a builder. Not just in the literal sense of writing code, but in the deeper sense of creating things that matter—things that solve real problems. My journey into blockchain product management wasn’t linear; it was a series of experiences, challenges, and moments of clarity that shaped the path I walk today.

Discovering Blockchain: The Developer’s Path

It all started in 2017 when I found myself drawn to the world of blockchain technology. At first, I was just curious—fascinated by the promise of decentralisation and its potential to reshape industries. I began as a Community manager and Developer advocate, engaging with blockchain projects, organising events and teaching both technical and non-technical audiences and learning from experienced builders.

But curiosity wasn’t enough. I wanted to truly understand how the blockchain worked technically. That led me to Web3Bridge, where I enrolled in a four-month immersive blockchain development program. It was one of the most intense learning experiences of my life—long nights of coding, debugging smart contracts, and competing in hackathons. I pushed myself beyond my limits, gaining not only technical proficiency but also a deep appreciation for the developer ecosystem.

Fresh out of Web3Bridge, I joined Stakefair, a web3 gaming company, as a Blockchain Engineer Intern. This was my first taste of working on a real-world blockchain product, and it was exhilarating. I saw firsthand the challenges of building decentralised applications, from smart contract security to scalability issues. More importantly, I realised something crucial: great technology alone isn’t enough—products need strategy, vision, and user-centred thinking to succeed.

From Builder to Product Thinker.

That realisation changed everything. I started asking questions that went beyond the code:
👉 How do we ensure users understand and use our product?
👉 What metrics define success for a blockchain solution?
👉 How do we make onboarding seamless for newbies in web3?

These questions led me straight into product management. I wanted to build blockchain solutions—not just from a technical standpoint, but from a product perspective.

To sharpen my skills, I enrolled in Product Dive, one of Africa’s top product schools. I immersed myself in design thinking, product strategy, and analytics, learning how to craft products that users love. But I knew that being technical as a developer is not the same as being a Technical Product Manager, so I upskilled further by taking a Technical Product Management program. My journey from developer to product manager has been an evolution—one that’s shaped by my love for building, my technical expertise, and my desire to create blockchain products that don’t just exist but thrive.

My goal is to become a Global Blockchain Product Manager, working on scalable, impactful Web3 solutions.

With a Global certification from The Association of International Product Marketing and Management (AIPMM)  I’m ready to help bridge the gap between technology, business, and users.

If you’re building something impactful and need a Product Manager who understands both the code and the product, let’s connect. 🚀

CERTIFICATIONS & RESUME

My Building Experience

Africa Bitcoin Conference(ABC)—Ghana

I was among a select group of African female developers flown to Ghana for the first-ever Africa Bitcoin Conference. This was a pivotal moment—I had the opportunity to dive deep into the Bitcoin ecosystem, network with global pioneers, and even meet Jack Dorsey in person.

Techpoint Africa Blockchain Summit (TABS) Web3 Hackathon

At TABS, my team and I built a blockchain-powered library designed to help authors earn fair compensation for their work while allowing readers to earn rewards for engaging with content.

Chainbase Hackathon

Assembling and leading a team, we competed in the Chainbase Hackathon, where we developed an innovative blockchain solution. The experience was documented in detail on Hashnode.
